Farbod Ghanouni
Farbod Ghanouni has practiced as an acoustical consultant since 2019. During his career, he has gained experience on diverse projects in the residential, commercial, educational, government, industrial, and healthcare sectors.
Farbod has conducted numerous environmental noise studies and building envelope reviews, interior sound isolation reviews, room acoustics reviews, and building mechanical noise assessments for residential and mixed-use projects across BC.
He has also assessed community noise impacts related to transportation and mechanical equipment.
Having performed many attended and unattended noise measurements in the field, Farbod is proficient using a wide range of noise instrumentation and software.
Farbod has authored technical papers and presented his findings at conferences. Most recently, Farbod presented his conference paper at Inter-Noise in 2023. He also discussed acoustical challenges and building design at an ASHRAE event in 2024.
Farbod is an Engineer in Training (EIT) registered with Engineers and Geoscientists BC.
