Kerry Wilson completed a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand in 2014. He joined BKL at the start of 2021.

 

Before moving to Canada, Kerry began working in acoustics in commercial and industrial noise control in 2016. He oversaw the design, manufacture, and installation of noise mitigation for HVAC equipment, generator buildings, and pump stations. He gained experience in HVAC system noise calculations and completing noise assessments for large industrial sites using computational noise modelling software.

 

In 2019, Kerry began joined an acoustical consultancy where he expanded his portfolio to include building acoustics, sound insulation design advice, room acoustics, and noise from building services, while working on a range of new builds and refurbishments, including schools, universities, healthcare facilities, offices, and residential buildings.

 

Kerry has experience with a range of software and equipment, including SoundPLAN, Cadna/A, Insul, and Brüel and Kjær sound level meters.
