Liam Reitsma
Liam Reitsma is a recent graduate of the University of Victoria, returning to BKL in a new position as a Junior Acoustical Consultant. Liam had his first exposure to the acoustics industry during an eight month work co-op with BKL in 2021, and he continued working part-time remotely for the final eight months of his engineering degree.
During his time with BKL, Liam has worked on building a strong foundation of knowledge and experience to use going forward with his career in acoustics. This experience includes exposure to a range of equipment and software, including Larson Davis, 01dB DUO, Brüel & Kjær, and Cadna/A.
Liam is registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC, with the intent of working towards his Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation.
Liam continues to develop his skills and experience with BKL, taking on more responsibility and new work on the mechanical side of acoustics, specifically with his involvement on hospital projects and residential developments.
