Jessica Carolina

Jessica Carolina has a wide variety of experience during her short career having graduated from Parahyangan Catholic University in 2016.  Following her completion of Bachelor of Architecture Engineering she relocated to Boise, ID to pursue Master’s in Business Administration. During this time, she worked as Marketing Design Intern in a local security system company and Business Strategy intern in Singapore. After graduating from Boise State University Jessica relocated to Los Angeles, CA to work as a Web Content Manager, prior to relocation to Vancouver, BC.

 

Jessica graduated from British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) with a Master in Applied Science in Building Science in 2021.  Her research concentration was identifying suitable acoustic parameter for evaluating outdoor soundscapes involving balanced soundscape, psychoacoustic studies, temporal sound level variance, spectra gravity center by performing a statistical study using R-programming and Minitab software. The case study was Olympic Village. She also conducted research on evaluating tranquility rating tool utilizing BCIT as the case study. During her time at BCIT Jessica was an intern at a local acoustical engineering company for 8 months, gaining valuable experience in acoustical consulting ranging from environmental noise study, reverberation study and STC/IIC study.

 

Jessica has wide range experience on equipment and software including binaural head, sound book, Larson Davis, 01db Fusion, 01db DUO, Bruel & Kjaer, INSUL, CADNA/A. She is familiar with ISO and ASTM test methods.

 

Jessica is a member Engineers and Geoscientists BC and currently working on her Engineers in Training certification.
